The Matrix GFX11e 3G/4G gateway with internal battery backup is designed for emergency, lift phone and GSM dialer applications.
Simply insert a sim card into the unit, connect a landline telephone, emergency phone or elevator phone to the RJ11 port on the unit and start making phone calls using the voice connection on the mobile account. This is identical to making a call from your mobile phone, except you are using a standard telephone handset.
GFX11e also has the ability to be used as a power failure notification device. It will send an SMS to a predefined number when the power is cut and the backup battery is now in use. When the internal battery becomes low an additional SMS is also sent.
